Cross stitch is good for quieting the mind-this is my first attempt which will go into the baby's room. I am hoping to have some nursery pics to show soon!

It is amazing what you can get done when procrastination hits. Clearly, I should have been sorting out our office to make room for the nursery but look what I accomplished instead-some soft trees from Stephanie's pattern that she shared here. I am literally sitting in a pile of books and papers so off I go-that is, unless I can find something else to distract me for a bit...
Rag Wreath
Have you noticed the arrival of Christmas commercials on tv today? I'm joining in the early holiday spirit to show you some Christmas crafts that I've been working on. This rag wreath was made for our friend who is throwing us a baby shower. I got the inspiration from this nice wreath but realized that I could make it myself for far less $$$! Two Christmas movies(Holiday Inn and Christmas in Connecticut) later, it was finished. Easy fashessy!
