I love all of the colors in this book-it's titled Stories About Sally and was illustrated by Connie Moran, Anne Fleur and Raymond Vartanian- c.1949.

Mosaic Monday

I was able to take these pictures after trudging through a field covered in goose poop but it was totally worth the experience. The geese clearly didn't want me anywhere near them, the entire flock turned their backs to me and waddled away from me as I crouched on the grass. As I was looking at my camera, it felt and sounded as though someone had let the air out of a room. I looked up and the flock had taken off at the same time-it was amazing, there were probably over 100 geese right above me. I was taking this in when I realized I should probably take a picture but got them too late as they were flying away. I was now standing in the field completely alone, not a goose to be seen.

I recently found a site that enables you to make these mosaics and do all kinds of cool things with your pictures. I've been slightly addicted to this feature and am going to declare each Monday as Mosaic Monday for a while here at Syd and Goose. Anyone want to play along?
