Did anyone else watch Nigella's Christmas Kitchen this morning? I am loving so much all of the white lights strung throughout the entire house. The show is a three part series on the Food Network-the last of the series airs on December 16 at 10:30am. If you missed the first two episodes, they can be viewed here-be sure to watch for the lighted star garland that is wrapped around the stairway banister-swoon!

Summer Lovin'

Loving JCrew's summer line- I think that long flowy dresses are gonna be just the thing for this summer. Perfect for this won't go near shorts girl. The Old Dog And The Sea

Is it really Monday again? We spent last week and this weekend in a sort of panic-my husband's 12 year old lab was so, so sick-it seemed to be touch and go there for awhile. But, almost miraculously he is back to his spunky old self-still waiting for some test results to come back but things seem to be improving. Yesterday we took him to an emergency specialty clinic that was a few miles from the beach-listening to the waves and combing the sand for sea glass was just what we needed.

It had stormed the night before and we hit the sea glass jackpot! A few days ago I was online searching through real estate listings that are my dream homes-ones that we could never afford-but I love to see what's out there and I think I found what I was looking for...


Now, where's my lottery ticket...

Something's Gotta Give

There was a period in time that I thought I wanted to go into set design-I didn't follow that path but I still love movies for their sets-even movies that aren't exactly groundbreaking hold lots of inspiration for me. I saw the movie Something's Gotta Give on tv a few weeks ago and pretty much want to move into the Hampton's based set. Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Keanu Reeves(yeah Keanu Reeves, not so groundbreaking) star in the movie but it has been widely reported that the house is the film's true star. Loose slipcovers, beachy blues, fresh flowers and an overall feel of elegance and comfort surround the house. After doing a google search I realized that I was definitely not the only one who has fallen in love. Hope you enjoy these pictures/links as much as I did-have a great weekend!
