I just realized that I missed this-what could be better than seeing Swayze bite his lower lip and give Baby the come hither finger gesture on the big screen? My love for this movie is never ending, how can you not love something that brought us rolled up jean shorts or the opportunity to hear Patrick Swayze sing "She's Like the Wind"? My brother used to taunt my friends and I by changing the lyrics to "She's Got Some Wind"- we'd roll our eyes and go back to applying the blue eyeliner and frosted lipstick. 
Did anybody see the Dirty Dancing tour? My best friend got a chance to go and I was incredibly jealous until she came back appalled that the only cast member there was the Kellerman's old guy. We would pop in the vhs and watch the end when the dancers danced down the aisle-and then would run down to my basement and practice and dream of Johnny...

Something's Gotta Give
There was a period in time that I thought I wanted to go into set design-I didn't follow that path but I still love movies for their sets-even movies that aren't exactly groundbreaking hold lots of inspiration for me. I saw the movie Something's Gotta Give on tv a few weeks ago and pretty much want to move into the Hampton's based set. Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Keanu Reeves(yeah Keanu Reeves, not so groundbreaking) star in the movie but it has been widely reported that the house is the film's true star. Loose slipcovers, beachy blues, fresh flowers and an overall feel of elegance and comfort surround the house. After doing a google search I realized that I was definitely not the only one who has fallen in love. Hope you enjoy these pictures/links as much as I did-have a great weekend!
