Everybody's Doin' It

                                       
I'm following the lead of these fabulous women and am posting my contribution to Club Little House. I was inspired by the blue Martha Stewart closet that I wrote about here. I think that I am trying to live vicariously through my dollhouse creation, as my own closet is a dark sliver of space and it is a rare day when sweaters don't fall on my head or shoes don't fall out from their cubby. I liked the idea of making dollhouse clothes and accessories to store in the armoire, maybe that's my next project. I wanted to make and include a few orange and black Hermes boxes(not that I have seen any in real life) but I ran out of time! I completely underestimated how long it would take to paint, paper and decorate the armoires but I really enjoyed every minute of it. Ok, I was a teensy bit happy to send them off and finally be able to see my coffee table again and my fingers are crossed that the wallpaper doesn't start to peel or the doorknobs don't pop off! If that does happen then we would definitely be getting closer to my own closet- just add some dog hair, a few piles of laundry and we're there! Thanks to Amy for organizing everything!
